Trigger Tempo Kids is for children: everything is included, there are no adverts or purchases, and it never goes online. Trigger Tempo Pro is for teenagers and adults: it starts with 12 free packs, has 20 producer lessons, and lets you unlock 100+ more packs, import your own sounds and export MIDI.

No account is needed for either app. Both work offline. In Trigger Tempo Pro you only need the internet to buy, unlock or download a pack, or to watch an advert. Once a pack is downloaded it plays offline.

Tap Save after recording and the file is saved as a WAV in your phone's Documents › Trigger Tempo folder. You can open it with your phone's Files app, or copy it to a computer and use it in any music software.

Tap Edit sounds under the pads, choose a pad, then pick a sound from the library.

On the Vibes page, tap Swap, then tap the pad you want to change. Choose any sound from the list. It's moved into your pack's key and tempo, and the label tells you whether it fits perfectly or might clash a little. Tap My mixes to save your combination. (In the Kids app, Drums and FX pads can be swapped.)

Open a locked pack and tap Watch an advert. Watch it to the end and that pack is unlocked for 3 days. You can do this as often as you like, for any pack.

It's yours to keep for £0.99. If you get a new phone, install Trigger Tempo Pro with the same Google account, open All packs and tap Restore purchases, then download it again.

All packs gives you every pack, new packs every month and no adverts. New subscribers get 7 days free, then it's £5.99 a month or £39.99 a year. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged.

Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › Trigger Tempo Pro › Cancel. Or, in the app, open All packs › Manage or cancel your subscription. You keep All packs until the end of the time you've paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it.

Purchases are made through Google Play, which handles refunds: see Google Play's help on refunds, or email us and we'll help.

Check you're online, then tap Download again. If you unlocked it with an advert, wait a minute and try again, as it can take a moment to be confirmed. If you bought it, try Restore purchases in All packs. Still stuck? Email us with the pack's name.

Yes. It collects no personal information, has no adverts, purchases, chat or sharing, never connects to the internet, and every sound has been checked as suitable for children. See our privacy policy.
